Thanks for thinking about having us build your custom project! We can do anything from building a prop or accessory to full costumes and armor builds and even sets for TV and film. Most projects require a minimum of 4-6 weeks of build time. Depending on the circumstances and project, we may be able to get it done more quickly, but a rush fee may apply.
- Currently, we are scheduling commissions for the winter of 2024 and beyond. We may be able to accommodate commissions sooner than that on a case by case basis or as we finish commissions, but will update our site and social media if that occurs.
- Regarding Costume Clubs. We do not and cannot guarantee approval by any costume club for any commission in whole or in part. Costume club approval is very subjective, and we do not adhere to standards that are arbitrary. All of our work is made to our standard – high quality, durable and screen NOT costume accuracy.
Pricing
A note about commission pricing: we build everything by hand and creating a completely custom original build is time-consuming. A commission is going to cost significantly more than something off of the shelf. There is no set pricing. Everything is based on material costs, complexity, and time, all of which can vary widely from project to project. All terms will be negotiated on an individual basis and we have a variety of flexible payment terms, but our standard is usually a 50% deposit to begin work and the remaining 50% upon completion before shipping (or pick-up). We are open to not only individual commissions, but working with studios, game companies, independent films, etc. for costumes and props.
