We fell in love with the Aurebesh Neon Lights on Shakari in The Mandalorian and Grogu and wanted to make some of our own. We set out with a goal of making a modular, printable faux neon light that did not require any cutting and soldering. It took several iterations, and some careful design work, but we are happy to share our results!
We now have a file pack available that includes all 26 letters of the alphabet, A-Z, numbers 0-9, a possessive S (‘S), and the medic symbol all in both vertical AND horizontal format. It also inclues all of the pieces to assemble a light in two styles – with or without the LED edge light around the perimeter. It also includes an in-depth 19 page PDF guide on how to assemble your light.
This new “Droids” light hangs in our workshop – we wouldn’t put files out there without testing them ourselves first! We also just added, by special request, the Star Wars medic symbol in neon format.
